And address, if I not wrong. Wtf these are In any documento, like passport etc.
Sooo fkking True.
Why Ismo hasn't been on Rogan yet?
This is so tru and I don't know is it funny or sad... 😂
A SIRious mistake
Really brilliant routine. It's amazing how complicated and contradictory the usage is of a simple word.
in Finland we are the nights who says ni, nonni and no niin, they are actually powerfull way to make you undertood, and word no does not mean no, at no niin
10 years ago I was on a business travel with Finish authorities in Minneapolis. We went to Famous Dave's (back then a great place!) and after 2 hours the waiters started to move some tables right next to ours, just to put the next rounds within reach. After 4 hours of severe dancing to live music the place was never as it was before. Even the old folks from the last row had the time of their lifes :D
Oikeakätiselle oikea käsi on oikea käsi ja vasen käsi on väärä käsi, mutta vasenkätiselle vasen käsi on oikea käsi ja oikea käsi on väärä käsi. Ilmaisinko riittävän selkeästi? 😁
Brilliant.
So true
As a Bulgarian, I can relate. In Europe or USA if you drink 8 beers, you are an alcoholic. In Bulgaria it means you are the driver that night.
Not sure how Sweden differs from Finland here, but if you have 2 beers, you don't drive, cus you can get arrested
It's an implicit commentary on the fact that vast majority of Finns take a very dim view on driving even slightly over the legal limit of 0.5 per mille blood alcohol concentration, which is when being on the safe side, less than one litre of "regular" beer for most. At the same time people *do* drink, they just don't find an excuse to drive home themself. They're thinking when it becomes legal to do so again.
@@foobar1500 wow. Our limit is at 0.2 and I think most people take that seriously? At least the people I'm around. In my opinion it's not just about legality but safety too
@@zupergurkan Legality is one thing, but gauging if it's safe is another. Most Finns definitely think that it's preposterous them to judge on the basis how they feel, instead of counting drinks and having a safe interpretation of it. Basically two slowly drank pints is the absolute maximum for hopping behind the wheel after it. (I don't think there's much evidence of large difference in safety between 0.2 and 0.5 per mille - but it's rather clear that one is going to exceed 0.5 per mille if one drinks more than two pints - or doesn't have *hours* of completely dry time after just one or two more.) To Americans the idea that they would be restricted from driving their own car and be on mercy of others in the name of safety seems harder to accept.
One of the better clips for sure
I'm sorry i gave you a thumbs down because you deserve all the thumbs up but this stupid ass youtube algorithm only shows me new content if i vote down what i have already seen! All the best to you, kippiss!
As a kid, I had nightmares, and my life hasn't ... oh wait ...
Finn here, I never drink any alcohol, but I am the anomaly 😂
I know what you mean. Used to party hard, but these days I have like six drinks in a year. Feels like I don't belong. People gift me booze, some of the gift bottles are 10 years old lol
I don't understand what's funny about this. I am a finn.
No senhän näkee jo sun kuvasta
We have health care here you have to pay for it ,me and my family have always had health care.
This is no joke.
No, dear one, it isn't. Because Finland has a zero tolerance law for alcohol and driving. It is incredibly taboo in Finland, and actually all Nordic countries, to consume alcohol and drive. He's trying to make it sound funny, because, Finnish humor, but it's not actually a laughing matter in Nordic cultures (which is exactly why he's making a kind of meta joke about it). Hope that clears this up for you!
@@stephaniejar3884Finland absolutely doesn’t have a zero tolerance for drinking and driving. The legal limit of blood alcohol level for drivers is 0,5g/l.
Why is Theo Von using a wig and a funny accent?
Not true actually, taste has a visual component that is equally important to smell, taste is actually the least important, as much of what we consider taste is actual from the aromas of the food in our mouth traveling upward into the nose through the throat. Our actual tastebuds have surprisingly little to do with it, and are mostly just there to detect poisonous items.
Welp that's it I'm booking a flight to Finland 🇫🇮
You know, amounts Ismo thinks about drinking in Finland, he doesn't take in count the price
Don't, please don't. It will be a terrible idea. Learn from others (like me).
Come to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You will fell right at home
Perfect typo
Indeed, I will not change it @@kevinjpluck
On sitä nyt sallittava yks päivä saikkua viikossa krapulan takia.
Pelkästään tämän takia tarvitaan 4 päivänen työviikko.
Side effects warning: Pursuing your childhood dreams can make you childish. Lol :)
fact
I've had this thought before 😂
That made me laugh hard! Because once I met a finnish friend here in germany and he was really into it!
Ismo is one of the funniest comedians out there right now. 😂😂😂
This is one of my favourite gags from Ismo.
I'm genuinely grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a knowledgeable group of individuals. It's a privilege.🌺
Theo Von from Eastern Europe ? 😂
Finland
Finland is not Eastern Europe…it is a Nordic country. If you said that there you would not be alive for long!😂
*Northern Europe aka The Nordic
Some people are even dumber grown up
It's funny cause it's true😂🍻🇫🇮
I want to revisit Helsinki. I had fun there.
Yeah, especially the driving part...
Ismo never tells a lie.
Indeed. People here buy alcohol meters to check when they can start driving lol
True. But for anyone wondering, it's because alcohol, especially beer, in the Nordic countries contain an additive - legally mandatory - to check us from over doing it. Doesn't help though.
That additive, in case anyone is wondering, is called "taxation". There is no actual additive :D
@@ihmesekoilua😂😂😂
What on earth are you on about? What additive?
@@ihmesekoilua The rising tax every 1st Jan is an "excuse"..They know it won't stop anybody from drinking just the same as before. Clever way of being double faced, as govs normally are.
Ensimmäinen
Wow. "First" in Finnish is "Ensimmäinen"? By the time you've finished typing that, you'd be 4th at best. That's rough buddy.
That's why nobody says that and it is 'eka' in spoken language
Ismo can we get full episodes from you at the improv please
And the funny thing is, the "b" shouldn't be there. It's there ONLY because of one smartass who though it would be cool to spell it debt, because in Latin it's debitus. Unfortunately this smartass was one of the people writing the dictionary.
Oh, he left out the best part of the joke. There are alternative versions of this one.
😂😂😂😂
I’m going to call this a classic already though it’s just a short bit.
The punch line was cut?! WTF?
Dont bite the ass that feeds you. LOLOLOLOL. Your a badass legend bruh
Always vegan jokes, I was 2 years vegan but now I am back to vegetarian
In Germany we have the opposite problem: the licence never expires. People who did their licence in the 50s, have the eye-sight of a mole, the general orientation level of a fruit fly, and the reaction time of a sloth, are allowed to drive 200 km/h on the Autobahn. Some are using the car because they are unable to walk or bike. Our neoliberals call it "freedom", even though there are plenty of people dying to this 100% preventable problem each year.
latin - debitvs, obvivs, svbtilis
how come he has moved to the US from one of the best countries in the World?
Ismo’s laughter has certainly changed. It seems he used to be naturally funny, but lately, he resorts to an exaggerated “ehe-ehe,” which I find annoying. Perhaps he’s trying too hard!
I agree. Please, Ismo, consider and evaluate the effect. You are smart and pro to decide whether that's a good effect on your great shows or not.
kids watching this are saying “what?.”
